{UAH} ‘You Have Knives, Don’t wait for Guns’—Top Politician’s Remarks Put NRM MP’s Lives in Grave Danger.
The aftermath of the passing of Age-limit bill has left many politicians representing ghost consistencies getting serious criticism and threats from its electorates for betraying their will to block oppose the bill.
It's now apparent that hundreds of NRM MPs fear to return to their constituency because they are unsure of how they will be welcomed home. Many have remained in Kampala to allow the steam to cool off.
However, remarks by the brains behind TOGIKWATAKO campaign, DP President Nobert Mao, has pressed on the youths to revolt and freely express their opposition to the Age-Limit bill.
''They should continue with the fight. 'Katandika Butandise' (meaning It's just getting started), If you have knives, don't wait for guns.''
His remarks literally according to police tantamount to 'inciting violence' but we remain to see whether police will squeeze Mao.
He's calls for defiance are already bearing fruits as the Vice President, Edward Kiwanuka Ssenkandi was booed at in Rubaga Cathedral when he was invited by Archbishop Lwanga Kizito, the echoes grew louder till he abandoned addressing the faithful.
