{UAH} FEDERAL CALL BY THE KABAKA

The report below, says it all, but the Kabaka should heed our call that Buganda needs to reach out to other regions to achieve federalism. The Fedbt20/20 is the national vehicle to touch base with for this desired effect.

The organisation will be releasing its program for 2018 very soon!

the Kabaka urged the youth to take up leadership positions on the political arena and rallied parliamentarians from Buganda to rejuvena

te the constitutional struggle for a federal system of governance in Uganda.

A week later, Buganda's Lukiiko (legislature) went ahead and passed a resolution supporting the Kabaka's call to renew the agitation for federalism.

To highlight the magnitude of the matter, many of the speeches made during the dinner were littered with the desire for federalism in Buganda.

Whether the call for Baganda to seek power will translate into federalism as a desired system of governance is what remains to be seen

​Federalism is the only way forward and to achieve it, we need a national conversation not unilateral approach. ​
