How to develop manners in your child?

1. When entering the house greet your children and kiss them. This develops their sense of mercy and compassion.

2. Tidy your hair, brush your teeth and wear presentable cloths at home. Your children need to see that being clean has nothing to do with going outside the house.

3. Show respect to your children's privacy. Knock before entering their room. Its important for their sense of value and self-esteem.

4. Don't blame or criticize every word or action. Let go sometimes. This builds their self-confidence.

5. Speak kindly to your parents and take care of them. The more your children see you take care of your parents the more they will learn to take care of you.

6. Be good to your relatives and neighbors, and never backbite or speak ill of them. Your children listen, internalise and copy.
