Donald Trump certainly showed his true, and perhaps favourite colours earlier this week, when he said Central America and Africa are home to 'shithole countries'. Luckily, Trevor Noah was on hand to give the President a taste of his own medicine.

During a monologue on Noah's The Daily Show, he addressed the offensive comments Trump made on Thursday when discussing immigration policy. Trev hilariously poked fun at Donald's opinions, and mocked his understanding of other nations.

Trevor Noah mocks Trump for 'shithole countries' comment

He chose to satirise America's generally ignorant perceptions about countries in Africa. In fact, Noah even made us yearn for our very own 'news donkey'.

"As someone from South Shithole, I'm offended, Mr President. Not only do you think brown countries are shitholes, but you seem to think we'll never know what you said? Look, it might take a few weeks, but as soon as the news donkey reaches our village, we'll be so mad."

Norway and Donald Trump

Another country that has been dragged into the murky Trump spotlight is Norway. At immigration policy discussions, the President asked why they couldn't take more Norweigans instead. Something that didn't evade Trevor Noah's attention.

Noah asked "what country could possibly be whiter than Norway? A country where people have to apply moon-screen". His light-hearted ribbing addressed accusations that the President is openly racist. Norwegians seem to agree…
