{UAH} Historical anti-war protest in London: 15 February 2003
Today Is The 15th Anniversary of the Iraq Anti-War Protest. On this day in 2003, more than 2 million people marched on the streets of London calling for the impending invasion of Iraq by USA Imperialism and supported by the UK, to be halted. The Anti-War Protest was the biggest mass demonstration in UK history, and certainly one of the biggest mass protests in the entire history of humanity. It was also the crowning moment of glory for Jeremy Corbyn, then a relatively obscure left-wing member of parliament, who organized the protest.
