On Tuesday, Kasule Lumumba announced she would fire over 420 secretariat staff.

But Tanga Odoi's response has opened another cold war between the two party figures.

NRM CHAIRPERSONS, YOUTH WANT TANGA ODOI SACKED

The NRM district chairpersons' forum leaders told reporters at Kati-Kati Restaurant in Kampala on Thursday that Tanga Odoi should be sacked.

The forum accuses Tanga odoi of dragging dirty NRM linen to the public space.

Forum chairperson Twaha Kiggundu said: ""We as chairpersons also have issues but we cannot call you the media to bring out our dirty linen in the public."

"This is the time President Museveni, our party chairman, should remove Tanga."

Kiggundu said it was time for the NRM disciplinary committee to bark and bite.

"For us as chairpersons we use our money to do party work because we love it. But the practice of belittling others [can't be tolerated]," he said.

ENTER NRM YOUTH ON TANGA ODOI KASULE LUMUMBA COLD WAR

According to Wakiso NRM youth leader Joseph Sewava, Tanga is not a cadre yet he is despising those who appointed him.

"Tanga is not a cadre, we hired him to help us. We thought he would organize elections but he has failed to recognize protocol," says Sewava.
