When you decide to marry an Acholi woman... Prepare to get down on your knees and crawl.
Their tradition is so interesting.
Acholi ladies are the most Expensive to marry in East Africa with the lowest acceptable dowry for a daughter who has a degree at a heavy 20 million Uganda shillings... If U don't have it they advise u to first go work harder... If u make a mistake of impregnating the lady and u stay with her minus marriage, u pray she does not die,, u will pay Bride price for the dead body my friend before its buried.
Yet u must also part with 1m for the Gomesi of the mother of Bride plus 6 million for the elders plus 4 cows. .. This if they see as Poor but marrying their educated or Rich daughter.. But if u are rich u are finished. 😃
They don't even give U food and the Bako remain outside seated until the agreement is reached, then there they Know U...
