{UAH} BOBBY'S LAST PARAGRAPH SHOULD NOT BE HIS LAST WORD!

I have had so many skirmishes with members on this forum, but none more so than Bobby. The latest just a day ago when he wrote this last paragraph; 

Akim Odong, once you have done the above two, i.e published A PROGRAMME and published a A ROAD MAP on how you will deliver the programme, then I and other Ugandans may decide whether to join you, cooperate with you, or just ignore you. Without doing this, it is pointless for us to continue with any further discussions on Fed 20/20, and like my daughter, I will say to you that I GIVE UP THEN, not because of lack of trying but because it is pointless.

I will not read this as a political obituary nor death knell, but a very good progressive report for Fedby20/20 Campaign. With every exchange I have  had, innocuous as some may be, his intellect rubs off me everytime and I have ended up learning a lot from this fellow; who without any doubt is an exception, but held by his own fear and frustration. He lacks the linkages that should naturally occur between a mind and character such his and that of a hoi polloi such as myself. However, I take great pleasure in engaging with Bobby, because on a good day, I will come back with more knowledge than I went with, but on a bad day more sh.. than I need. 

The last paragraph above reveals Bobby's hope, belief, anger, fear, and frustration with the FEDBY20/20 Campaign's lack of momentum. But Rather than get in and shape things from within,  he opts for us to do the shaping and he does the criticising from without. This is not how progress is made but how failure is induced. It is this crass attitude in most Ugandans that I would like appeal to. It must change! We need to learn to get our hands dirty if we are, to see any change.

I take comfort in that Bobby still has his door open, and that is a good thing. But I am appealing to him and others like him, that they need to come out of their hovels and meet us in the rugged terrain where mind and action are brewed and not at the doorstep. 

It takes courage but it must be done!
