{UAH} COURTESY CALL TO HON. TABAN AMIN

This morning I went with my assigned bodyguard (left) to pay a courtesy call to my son Member of Parliament Hon Taban Amin (middle). Actually he is my brother Taban's son but hey...this is Africa where your brother's children are also your own. He is planning on traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj. We discussed current affairs, development projects for the youth & women in his constituency, plus other national matters of common concern. It seems parliament is gearing up for "the referendum". But despite our different political affiliations (I am more of an independent-minded person), I am always available to give him some meaningful advice. However I liked his pro-active attitude towards his constituents and towards his work. I also liked that despite the history between the two leaders, he insisted beyond any doubt on having his grandfather's photo also pinned up there on his office wall.
