{UAH} Protest against Israel's Racist Deportation Policy

On January 1, 2018, Israel announced plans to deport African migrants and detain those who refuse to leave by March 31st.
The government is arguing that they owe no obligation to the migrants because they are economic migrants, not refugees. However, according to the UNHCR, Israel's unfair asylum system is systematically preventing African migrants from gaining refugee status. Israel has only recognised fewer than 1% of asylum applicants as refugees, compared with 90% for Eritreans and 60% percent for Sudanese migrants in the EU.
Netanyahu has called the migrants' presence a threat to Israel's social fabric and Jewish identity and some of his supporters have referred to them as "a cancer".
UN experts have said that the policy violates international human rights and refugee law and yet, the Israeli government has already started issuing deportation notices and detaining migrants.
Join us at a protest outside the Israeli embassy in London demanding an immediate end to this policy and the unfair asylum system systematically depriving African migrants of the rights and dignity they deserve.
