{UAH} Understanding Kenyan politics is not for the lazy simple-minded

 Lets take the case of Wetangula ouster. It is one very tricky case. It is easy to brand it a Luo-Luhya affair because it is the easiest opinion since it looks a no brainer.There are 26 NASA Senators. Out of these, 5 are Luos. Yesterday, 19 Senators voted against Wetangula and 0 voted for him. 7 Senators chose to stay away.

The 19 Senators belong to ANC, Wiper and ODM or what ever they are called. They cannot vote against the wishes of their Principals in NASA. Either Kalonzo ordered his Senators to vote against Wetangula or he just chose to look the other side meaning they had an okay from him to vote against Wetangula. Musalia and Raila did the same.

3. Stewart Mwachiru Shadrack Madzayo – Kilifi County.

4. Sam Ongeri- Kisii County.

5. Fredrick Otieno Outa- Kisumu County.

7. Ben Oluoch Okello- Migori County.

8.  Ledama Ole Kina – Narok County.

9.  Erick Okongo Mogeni – Nyamira County.

10. James Orengo- Siaya County.

11. Johnes Mwashushe Mwaruma – Taita Taveta County.

12.  Malachy Charles Ekal Imana –Turkana County.

13. Mohamed Faki Mwinyihaji- Mombasa County.

ODM Nominated Senators:

1. Agnes Zani.

2. Ms Beatrice Makori 

3. Naomi Masitsa.

4. Ms Mercy Chebeni 

5. Ms Gertrude Inimah

 ANC Senators:

1. George Khaniri- Vihiga County.

2.  Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah - Kakamega County.

ANC Nominated Senators:

1. Petronila Were Lokorio.

WDM-K Senators:

1.  Enoch Kiio Wambua – Kitui County.

2.  Mutula Kilonzo Junior – Makueni County.

3.  Boniface Mutinda Kabaka- Machakos County.

WDM-K Nominated Senators:

1. Sylvia Mueni Kasanga.

 19 members of ODM voted to eject man Wetangula, quick arithmetics, ODM has 12 elected senators plus 5 nominated senators giving a total of 17 senators, who were the other 2?

See? In Kagutastan republic ants eat ants. $$$$$$$ speaks.
