Here are some of the dangers of retiring back home as some of us are planning to do. It seems it is becoming very risky. You just make yourself a target for the local thugs. They think you have a lot of money, and yet a majority of the pensioners who retire in their countries of origin are not rich at all- they decide to return because of the weather, and because their pension can last longer than it does in the UK. £140 ($200) weekly pension may sound like a lot in Jamaica or Uganda, but in the UK it does not take you far.
