Accused Russian Agent Linked to Several Members of Obama’s Administration

 

Over the weekend, Robert Mueller’s team indicted a woman named Maria Butina, and claimed she is a Russian spy sent here to help the Trump’s campaign win the presidential election in 2016. This despite NO EVIDENCE to support the claim.

One theory is that Mueller had to arrest someone to quiet the growing calls to abandon his witch hunt against the President. An arrest of a supposed Russian spy—especially one with even the thinnest of links to the now hated NRA—gives credence to the whole Russian collusion investigation.

The problem with this theory is that Butina never met with any Trump campaign members, nor did she ever work on his presidential campaign. However, she DID meet with two high level Obama administration officials on two separate occasions.

In April 2015 Butina met with Stanley Fischer—then vice chairman of the Federal Reserve—and Nathan Sheets—then Treasury undersecretary for international affairs. At the meeting Butina and another Russian official asked about the Obama administration’s stance on improving U.S.-Russian economic relations.

The mere fact that a Russian spy was present in a high level meeting disproves the Trump-Russia collusion narrative by the Democrats. It further proves Obama and his administration had no fears that Russia was interfering in our elections and was doing nothing to stop the threat.
