Late Tanzanian President Julius #Nyerere on talks with Uganda's Milton #Obote and Kenya's Jomo #Kenyatta for East African Federation. Said Kenya was key for it to succeed. Said he wanted elder statesman Kenyatta as Federation President and for Kenyatta to make him Permanent UN Representative of the Federation.
Said his ambition was to be referred to as an 'African' with eventual African unity.
