The danger in your writing is that you fail to realize that the electorate is not stupid. Go back and revise your notice on the history of this man, his only true friends have been the people. When the entire system becomes anti Trump, when the entire media becomes anti Trump, he remains with a single un changed factor, the people. Do you see all the failures you have listed below, I wonder how the people see them, and how they interpret them. It becomes very worry some when you always plan political strategy on short term basis, for you used to plan to the election, today you are planning to midterms. Edward what if you lose the midterms? Or I forgot they are already in the bag due to the failures you have listed, as you swore how the 2016 elections were in the bag just for the collection.

Folks;
The prevailing partisanship, and a justified retaliation, would call for the Democrats to oppose Judge Brett Kavanaugh's nomination.
They shouldn't.
This youthful judge deserves a fair and urgent hearing, and a quick confirmation. By confirming him in a huff, Democrats will have disarmed President Trump off his only tool for mid-term campaigns.
His earlier strategy to help the GOP keep both Houses - the Nuclear Deal with North Korea - is fast evaporating and is now on life-support.
Having loudly and angrily promised to repeal Obamacare, and failed famously, Trump has been lurching from one unfulfilled promises to unrealistic promises:
The Wall has not been built; Immigration blew up in his face; senior staff are fleeing the White House on a weekly basis, and he birthed the most illogical, uneducated decision ever - imposing stiff trade barriers that have begun hurting his own voter base.
So, bruised by his own uninformed decisions, President Trump is heading to the November mid-term election with weak hands and weaker voice. He risks causing the loss of both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
His choice of Judge Kavanaugh is wrought with the attendant battles, especially on abortion.
The Democrats should recognize this, but quickly confirm this nominee so that the president and his mouth pieces at Fox News lose their remaining platform to canvas for votes.
