As we are closing the day, note that the White House is announcing five minutes ago that it is implementing fresh tariffs on $200 billion worth of imported Chinese goods. The U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said and I quote “ The new 10 percent tariffs were in response to what is China's retaliation and failure to change its practices. This is an appropriate response under the authority of Section 301 to obtain the elimination of China’s harmful industrial policies," End quote. The list of goods affected by the new tariffs includes seafood, fruits and vegetables, grains and tobacco coming out of China to United States.

As the president of the people stated, he is not starting a trade war, United States is already in a trade war and it is losing very badly.
