Uganda's embattled military Gen Kale Kayihura cries foul over fabricated lies

Embattled General Kale Kayihura has broken the silence on the conduct of Uganda  security operatives, accusing them of fabricating evidence against him.

Inspector General of police Gen Kale Kayihura  who was arrested closely 40 days ago  over unknown charges yet to be  preferred against . While his lawyers of Kampala Associated Advocates  led  by Jet John Tumwebaze claimed that the different security operatives in Uganda have  ordered the arrest of different people forging evidence and conniving with witnesses to incriminate their client.

The former IGP  also cautioned ISO security operatives against intimidating the court  lies that have been labelled aganist him ahead of his pending charges in the General  court martial that sits at Makindye in Kampala.

This comes after political leaders in Kisoro District , western Uganda appealed to Uganda President through the Prime Minister office to have a heart and pardon the former Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura or  in case he committed any wrongs rather than humiliate him with prosecution.

According Mr Abel Bizimana the LC 5 chairman of Kisoro said as NRM leaders, they are embarrassed seeing the man, who was always referred to as a party pillar in their area, being humiliated with arrest a few months after he was dismissed from his job.
