{UAH} VIAGRA

Gwokto/ Henry Ford Mirima/ Edward P'Ojim/ Moses Nekyon,

Do you know much about Viagra? It is now an off-the shelf drug in the UK, sold by pharmacies to anyone who can afford it.

Today I went to my local pharmacy to collect my regular medication, and I could see Viagra prominently displayed. But what shocked me was that they were in packs of 4 tablets and were selling for £20 ( $27).  This makes it £5 (or $7) per tablet, which seems steep from my point of view- I cant say the same about yourselves as you may have deeper pockets.

I wanted to buy a pack to go and try it out, but the pharmacist told me they would not sell it to me because I am on Steroid Treatment; they would first have to assess any possible repercussions if the two drugs were to mix.

Now the questions I ask are:

1. Does Viagra have any possible long term impact on the body, especially the functions of the heart?

2. Does one have to use all the 4 tablets in the course of the night- ie how long does the effect of one tablet last? 10 minutes? 30 Minutes or 1 hour?

3. What does Viagra do precisely? Does it increase potency? Does it increase resilience? Is it a marathon drug?

4. What happens to an erection that refuses to go away?

I am really curious, and I am sure you wisened old sexologists have answers to some or all of these questions.

The most immediate problem for most men who may want to use Viagra is that it puts up the cost of sex by  at least £20. The cheapest sex worker in London is about £20, so you are talking of atleast a minimum £50 to quench your libido.  May be it is a price worth paying. I just don't know, but the world is becoming more materialistic- there is no free dinner and no free sex anymore.
