The Buhweju county Member of Parliament Francis Mwijukye FDC has reacted to president Museveni's words against him instead praised himself for being talked about by the president many times more than those of the NRM candidate who had brought him.
On 19th July 2018, president Museveni warned the sheema municipality voters not to punish themselves like Buhweju, saying voting Mwijukye denied them services.
While in Rushozi ward Sheema municipality campaigning for FDC MP flag bearer Plan Mugyenyi Virginia, Mwijukye replied to president Museveni noting that abusing him is like abusing his voters.
"Yesterday president said that I'm nothing, if he calls me nothing yet I'm a member of parliament, what do you think he calls the voters who voted me?"
The Legislator added that the NRM caucus is the source of suffering.
"That I can't reach to the NRM caucus where services are delivered from, even me I don't want to reach there because it's the source of our suffering since its where less important taxes are fixed and raised from, it's where all un necessary amendments come from because all members who sit there all puppets " Mwijukye added.
He then advised all FDC youths to form groups of ten members each group to monitor some areas hence stopping rigging of votes noting that the opponents may want to tamper with the vote.
"They hired Bright Rwamirama and (Ashraph) Rweyeshera because they know how to beat, leave them to beat us using sticks and we use votes to win them … we are tired of NRM humiliation," he added
However, Plan Virginia Mugyenyi FDC flag bearer promised her supporters that she won't be selfish like others noting that she will give jobs to NRM members especially those who were defeated in NRM primaries.
