{UAH} WHAT DOES "PRAYER" MEAN IN COURT

WHAT DOES "PRAYER" MEAN IN COURT:

If you go to Court, or watch TV, you will hear lawyers in Court asking or praying for things. E.g My lord, I pray that this Court finds my client not guilty etc etc.

And then you wonder, why is this person praying in Court as if there's a Lunch hour fellowship taking place. There's even no bible in the mix, and no one is shouting. If you watch on TV, the Lawyer is praying for things, but there's no mobile money number coming up on the screen asking you to "sow".

And then you wonder, in legal terms, what does prayer mean?

WHAT IS A PRAYER:

In legal terms, a Prayer is a request for something or action which a person asks Court to do, or not to do. E.g "My Lord, our prayer is that this Honorable court should compel the accused to pay my client.

Allaah gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him."And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things." (6:17)
