A Black baby doll was "lynched" at the historic Bethel Burying Ground (BBG) at Fourth & Catherine in Philadelphia.

The BBG is the location where approximately 8,000 Black men, women, and children from around the early 1800s are buried. It had been long desecrated by local white businesses that used it as a trash dump until around the mid-1800s.

No one did anything to rectify the problem until Mayor Kenney recently agreed to the demands of a local historian and activists. He then began implementing plans to soon transform it into a major municipal memorial site.

But today someone decided to symbolically transform a historic memorial site into a hateful lynching site.

Local law enforcement agencies are investigating. Stay tuned.

(A big shout-out to Sistah Delia Raab-Snyder who discovered, photographed, and reported this outrage.)
