{UAH} Bobi needs treatment urgently

It sounds like a movie when u read what happened in Arua but the sad part is Bobi Wine's kidney was allegedly damaged while being beaten up, and I am most sorry. He's gonna eventually need a transplant and/or dialysis. He needs a donor for a kidney transplant. Hopefully, he gets a match.

According to his brother and a press conference by Kiiza Besigye, one of the kidneys is failing. As a doctor, i hope Besigye is allowed to visit Bobi , examine him and look at his tests. The way to confirm this, they look at the GFR (a measure of how well the cells in your kidney are filtering), as well as the absolute values of waste products in the blood - creatinine and B.U.N. (blood urea nitrogen). In the UK and USA, creatinine is usually expressed as 1.0 for normal (88 in metric). 6.0 creatinine is commonly thought of as "about that time". I appeal to Museveni ( as a parent) to put aside politics and help to send Bobi abroad for treatment. The rest of us could get tested for possible kidney donation. I wonder how this can be organised. Bobi needs everyone on this, guys.There are many reasons to donate, or perhaps many manifestations of a single reason: The things we do now will echo in eternity, as Marcus Aurelius tells us. Kidney donation exemplifies this concept perfectly. 

We have to remind ourselves when things look grim that there are a lot of good folks in this world.
