- Video was uploaded by group My Stealthy Freedom, urging women to protest
Provocative footage has emerged of the moment a Muslim woman challenges a cleric who ordered her to fix her hijab on a public street in Iran.
The man can be seen telling the woman to 'fix your hijab or I'll get you arrested' when the woman bravely rips the veil off her head in anger and walks away.
The Facebook group My Stealthy Freedom, which uploaded the video on Friday, described the cleric's behaviour as 'humiliating and arrogant'.
'This is the wrong culture that has been telling women for forty years now. Those who want to conquer women always betray the concept of struggle and freedom,' the caption reads.

'Shame on those who do not see that when a protest rally is organized, women are progressive, but women are constantly repeating the right to choose their cover and human dignity.'
The group encourages women to follow the campaigns #Small_Safe, #Camera_Small and #Campaign_Sampaign to practice daily civil disobedience and to protest patiently and respectfully.
The campaign aims to film and hold those to account for their 'ugly' behaviour.
'If you are offended, film their ugly behavior. Let them publish their own responsibility for the ugliness of their behavior,' the group says.

'With a government that does not care for the citizen and not a part of the land, there is only one way: to reduce the number of supporters until the day when no one else remains for their support. This is not possible except with the culture and the conversation.'
Iranian law for the last 40 years dictates that woman must cover their heads in public, with failure to do so a jailable offence.
However, there is a growing movement of people in Iran who oppose the laws that make it mandatory for women to wear veils.

Protest: Ms Shajarizadeh was arrested in February after she was filmed standing on a traffic island in the Iranian capital Tehran, while waving her headscarf around on the end of a stick
'This brave woman challenges a cleric in front of him,' Journalist and campaigner Masih Alinejad said.
'The cleric tells her that she'd get arrested because her hijab is not appropriate. She storms off and completely removes her hijab in front of the cleric while standing her ground.
'This campaign is addressed to women who willingly wear the veil, but who remain opposed to the idea of imposing it on others,' Masih Alinejad said.
In June this year, a woman was filmed defying morality police in Iran after she was told to put on a veil.
In February another woman was arrested after she was filmed standing on a traffic island in the Iranian capital Tehran, while waving her headscarf around on the end of a stick.
