{UAH} EID HOLIDAY STILL ON

EID AL ADHUHA IS CEREBRATED FOR THREE EXTRA DAYS
Brothers and sisters, happy Eid al Adhuha, the feast of sacrificing
animal;s that was cerebrated yesterday.
Thank you all who sacrificed animals and those who donated to others.
l prayed at Afriuca Muslim Community Juma Sect Bukoto mosque and our
President General Sheikh Abdul Obeid Kamulegeya called for
reconciliation and unity not only among Muslims, but also among
Ugandans.
In the past, many Muslims families in Uganda used to rear goats, sheep
not only for raising income, but also to have one to slaughter on such
a day.
However, these days, Ugandan Muslims rich and poor alike, wait for
cows, sheep, and goats donated by foreign donors especially Turkish
and Arabs. That is a slave mentality we should fight. We can mobilize
for foreign aid for building mosques, schools, hospitals, etc... but
not for food we can grow here and meat when we can rear our own
animals.
Worse still, those involved, have turned it into a business, declaring
a few to the Muslims, including the poor and the needy, and sell the
rest into an open market. Please know that you are eating Hell fire.
Lastly, Eid al Adhuha, is cerebrated for three extra days, which ,
according to Islamic tradition, are known as days for smoking meat.
The holiday will therefore end on Friday. God willing at 04.00 pm.
So it is my humble prayer that, since we did not shed human blood
yesterday, we should not shed in the three extra days, as Government
and Opposition sort themselves out.
