Nambooze returning to Uganda tomorrow

Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze is returning to Uganda on Saturday from India.
There will be a special mass at her home in Mukono to thank God for the gift of life.
Nambooze has been receiving treatment from Manipal Hospital in Bangolore and she has undergone two specialized operations.
She left for India on July 4, 2018 following her brutal arrest by police on charges of inciting violence after the death of Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga on June 8, 2018. She was accompanied by her husband, and personal doctor.
She was first flown to India in November last year for specialized management of backbone injuries she suffered to during the age-limit debate scuffle that erupted in Parliament on September 27, 2017.
