As expected, this law breaking president says he'll pardon his convicted pal. The president is bribing Manafort with a pardon, to frustrate the Mueller investigation.
Ahead of his sentencing, Manafort will be asked if he had anything to offer to the prosecution, in exchange for a lighter sentence. Now, Trump is telling him to shut up, because he will make sure Manafort does not serve any prison term.
