Why Melania Trump is a Role Model for Young Girls

Having a good role model to look up to is important for young children, whether it’s a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or a family friend.  It helps children create their own identity, learn about things they may not have been exposed to in their normal daily routines – and allows for different styles of communication or expressions.

Even though it seems that kids these days have their lives made in the shade, they still need someone else to look up to other than their parents.  Good role models make positive impacts on others’ lives, helping them see what the world has to offer.

 

Melania Trump is a symbol of today’s proud American woman.  She’s a woman with a mind of her own, has the determination to stick to her goals, and personifies a spirit of strength and courage to face whatever criticism comes her way.

 

She gives hope to American families, immigrants, and young women, showing people across the world that with hard work and dedication, you can achieve your goals and reach beyond your limits.

Beyond her beauty and wealth, there were lessons she learned from her own experiences: Melania is an immigrant, a mother, step-mother, former model, and now, First Lady of the United States.

As a successful, proud female immigrant, she shows how you shouldn’t be afraid to speak your mind – regardless of what others say about you.  Day after day, Melania dismisses the rigor of liberal scorn and carries on about her day in the most professional way, despite the negativity –  something all school-aged children face and can relate to at some point in their school year.

To the female immigrants who struggle with English language proficiency, Melania is someone they could see as part of themselves.  The Census Bureau reported in 2013 that 1:5 Americans speak a foreign language and 61.8 million speak a language other than English at home.

 

At one point in her career, Melania was a successful international model. She worked her way up in a notoriously demanding and unforgiving industry and gained international recognition through her hard work.  Everywhere you look, she has dressed appropriately, beautifully, and with the utmost class.

She represents the woman who is asked a million times what country she is from because of her foreign accent, and isn’t afraid to open up for fear of being misunderstood or to be the brunt of a leftists joke.

As the step-mother of a blended family, she proves that you can be a powerful team player, too.  Most step-families will agree that learning how to blend together requires work and commitment to the marriage and each other.  And Melania has proven that blended families can work very well together, where everyone can be respected, heard and get along.

The Trump family has demonstrated through the adversity they are a strong family and a strong team.  With Melania Trump in the White House, there’s new hope for American women striving to attain their own version of the American Dream.

 

There are many smart, pretty women out there, but it takes considerable effort, determination, and talent to succeed.   Melania has proven this time and time again and continues to support the United States of America precisely the way a First Lady should.
