Nelly Mwende Kimotho, a form one student at Kenya High has finally been found after she had gone missing for four days.

Mwende, who went missing after she had gone for shopping with two of her siblings and a friend at a supermarket in Runyenjes town, was found on Wednesday August 29 stranded in Embu Town.

Her mother, Lorna Margaret Kariuki, the majority whip in Embu County Assembly, said Mwende will undergo medical treatment as she looked weak and tired.

"My daughter is now in the safe hands of police. I thank God, prayer partners, well-wishers, police, the media, my family, my good friends, who stood with me and encouraged my family. Mwende will undergo medical treatment as she is weak and looks tired," said the mother.

Reports say Mwende, who was abducted by unknown people, could have been drugged.
