Ethiopian Giant Dam Engineer Killed Himself – Police
The man whose face is synonymous with Ethiopia's Grand Rennaissance Dam grabbed his gun and shot himself dead inside his car- Ethiopian Police said in a late report since his death in July.
"The investigation reveals that he used his own gun and killed himself," the head of Ethiopia's Federal Police Commission, Zeinu Jemal, told reporters.
Engineer Simegnew Bekele was the manager of $4 billion Ethiopian dam.
On July 26th he was found dead in his car parked in Addis Ababa capital.
After completion, this giant dam will generate a total of 6,000 megawatts (MW).
