{UAH} FOOLS OF FRONASA?
News reports emerged of some old rusted weapons (picture attached) accidentally found by builders recently in the compound of one James Kalambuzi, a convicted criminal who was caught red-handed with his fellow FRONASA rebels in 1973 by the Amin government. They were then put on trial in a military court, found guilty by the presiding judge, and sentenced by court to the legally prescribed capital punishment (Firing squad) for their heinous crimes. Now with the unearthing of the rusted guns 45 years later from Mr. Kalambuzi's secret hiding place in his own compound, it is now certain that his case was not based on trumped-up charges as was previously claimed by the international press and the local anti-Amin junta. Surely his case is unlike the recent false charges of weapons possession filed by the Museveni regime against Uganda's new famous MP Bobi Wine whose arrest and torture has made world news headlines. So Mr. Kalambuzi, his colleagues, and their FRONASA rebel leader were killers as found by court, and not victims of any persecution as once deliberately reported. He and his group were found to have conducted assassinations, abductions, disappearances and cold-blooded murders of prominent Ugandans including the famous disappearance of former Chief Justice Ben Kiwanuka, in what FRONASA rebel group veterans themselves now publicly say were "covert operations to destabilize the Amin government", right? Incredibly, the prominent Ugandans who were killed or disappeared by the Kalambuzi;s in the 70's, their surviving families today have even been fooled into mourning and praising such FRONASA criminals as heroes, yet these are the very people who heartlessly abducted and savagely murdered their relatives never to be seen again.
For those who have been harbouring doubts on this issue for years, besides killing Ugandans, what else were the rebels doing with these pictured guns?
