The fans who had come for the Gor Mahia versus Mathare FC Kenya Premier league match raided several restaurants, ate and rejected to pay bills.

A witness at the scene Jacob Matunda said the fans started bullying waiters at the hotel after eating.

"The fans are my regular customers whenever there are matches around, but today the loss they have caused me is unbearable," said Akwacha who alleged that the youths were Gor Mahia fans, some of whom well known to her.

She reported that the fans broke glasses, threw stones all over the place and carried away food staff including meat.

She said the fans stoned Toyota Peugeot vehicle packed on the yard of the hotel as some drivers escaped the scene.

Akwach said the fans were armed with crude weapons and machete when they raided the place.

County Police commander Job Boronjo said police had recorded statements from witnesses and they have launched investigations.
