Folks;

This powerful disclosure by President Trump's Senior Counsel, Kellyanne Conway, that she's a victim of sexual assault, should put paid to anyone who questions the motives of victims of sexual assault who come out when they do.

In this forum and elsewhere, commentators have piled on the university don, Prof. Ford, for coming  up with accusations that Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, sexually assaulted her some 36 years ago. 

These commentators wonder why Prof. Ford waited so long to make the accusations, and implying that she was motivated by  political or financial considerations.

Now, here is a well-established woman and a lawyer at that, who, as Senior Counsel to the president, has nothing to gain, coming out to disclose her own sexual assault.

Folks, we have to stop blaming women who come forward with accusations of sexual assault.
