{UAH} PRESIDENT OBAMA HAS BEEN FUNDING TERRORISTS AND THE PRESIDENT HAS STOPPED IT

U.S. Stops Funding Palestinian Terrorism

The War on Terror has deep financial roots and Pres. Donald J. Trump just bulldozed them by cutting off money to Palestine.

Left-leaning headlines are once again trying to take the America First president to task by claiming the policy move takes money from hospitals and refugees. Nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact, the Palestinian Authority has a long-standing relationship with radical Islamic extremists that commit atrocities. If these terrorists die or are incarcerated during their jihad against innocent women, children and civilian men, they and their families are robustly rewarded through a so-called “Martyrs Fund.”

Palestinian Authority’s ‘Pay to Slay’ Program

According to recent reports by the watchdog Jerusalem Post, the Palestinian Authority paid out more than $347 million to convicted terrorists and their families during 2017.

The anti-Jewish organization has created an incentive-based system for Palestinians to wage violence against Israelis. The average Palestinian reportedly takes home about $580 monthly. But if someone is killed or incarcerated while bringing harming to a Jewish person, they are given a much higher monthly income.

If a Muslim lives in Israel while committing a bad act, the Palestinian Authority funnels nearly four times their average monthly income. Should a terrorist be jailed for 3-5 years, they can expect a check of upwards of $2,900 monthly.

Included in the money-for-murder is an incentive of $145 if they live in the Jewish state. The pay scale is further incentivized by terrorists receiving higher bonuses if they are married and have children. If the crime is particularly heinous, additional rewards are reportedly doled out.

“The amount of the payment is decided according to the severity of the crime and the length of the sentence – in other words, whoever murders and is sentenced to life in prison gets much more – that is funding terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens,” Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman reportedly said. “There is nothing that better illustrates the (Palestinian Authority’s) support for terrorism. We must stop this.”

The fund was a darling of the terrorist organization known as Fatah as early as 1964. It was initially designed to pay the widows and orphans of suicide bombers and was internationally rebuked as a “Pay for Slay” scheme. The Palestinian Authority reportedly transferred the administrative duties of the fund to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to disburse money directing to terrorists and their families.

However, the money laundering façade has never fooled international watchdogs. The Authority’s fingerprints are all over the Martyrs Fund. The Authority directly funs the PLO.

Israeli leaders cut off funds to the pro-terror Palestinian Authority early in 2018 and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham introduced legislation to stop all funds to Palestine unless they end the terror-for-hire program. Pres. Trump made certain that American money will no longer be a source of budgetary flexibility for an organization that promotes terrorism.

Pres. Trump Takes Decisive Anti-Terror Action

In response to the Palestinian Authority’s failure to end its Pay to Slay incentives, the Trump Administration recently announced the U.S. will withdraw its funding of United Nations programs such as the U.N. Relief and Works Agency that underwrite Palestine.

Demanding reform, the U.S. Department of State issued a statement explaining America “will no longer commit further funding to this irredeemably flawed operation.” The United States has provided upwards of 30 percent of the revenue while Palestinians siphon money to terrorists.

Earlier in 2018, Pres. Trump alerted the Palestinians that failure to appropriately disburse U.S. money in compliance with America’s national interest would result in a reduction or elimination in aid.

“As a result of that review, at the direction of the President, we will be redirecting approximately $25 million originally planned for the East Jerusalem Hospital Network,” a State Department official reportedly said. “Those funds will go to high-priority projects elsewhere.”

While detractors and pro-Palestine organizations decry the recent decisions by Pres. Trump, the murder-for-hire fund continues to funnel international aid to Muslim extremists. Palestinian Authority officials are claiming the U.S. president favors Israel and holds a bias against the Palestinian people.

“This dangerous and unjustified American escalation has crossed all red lines and is considered a direct aggression against the Palestinian people,” the Palestinian Foreign Ministry reportedly said.

Clearly, they confuse the embarrassing and weak “red line” statements by Obama for the decisive actions of Pres. Trump. The Trump Administration remains open to assist refugees and negatively impacted Palestinians once the Pay to Slay campaign ends.
