{UAH} SUSAN DOKOLO
Mayimuna/ Afuwa kasule,
-- Do you remember this abandoned little girl? I posted her story here on this forum, appealing for help, but no one responded. Well, here she is now, looking happy and healthy. I am so proud that from a distance, I heard the cries of a little child with no hope. Susan Dokolo'ss troubles are far from over, but at least she has a fighting chance. Seeing pictures like these make me even more determined to continue with my crusade to make the world a better place. I will never abandon any child in need if I can help it. And I will continue to hold the hands of anyone who is sinking and will do my utmost to stop them from drowning if I am able to do so. I am alive today because someone took pity on my great grandfather when he was orphaned and adopted him. I will congratulate myself on this occasion even if no one else does so, while at the same time recognising that for every Susan Dokolo, there are probably 1,000 others who are not so lucky.

Every child can make it when given a chance. Many children are these days thrown/abandoned by their inhuman mothers and left to die. This girl child was found abandoned at birth but a Good Samaritan woman picked her up and cared for her and she is now big and beautiful. Dokolinga Susan, a resident of Lira Modern Village in Adyel Division is looking after the child just like her own and she now has two children. Her challenge, being a single mother is getting the basic necesities. If you want to assist Dokolinga, you are most welcome.
