{UAH} Edmund, Ocen//House-girl sought after shs. 5M goes missing in Nyachae's home
Folks;
In US dollars, Kenya shs. 5M is $50K. Why would anyone keep that much cash at home, even if it's in a safe?
Simeon Nyachae is a Kenyan institution: he rose through the ranks to become Chief Secretary and Secretary to the Cabinet, a position that brought him more power and influence than even the vice-president at the time.
He retired from the civil service and become a member of Parliament, upon with he was named to the Cabinet. So, Mr. Nyachae knows Kenya like the back of his hand.
Would that be the reason he has the need to keep this much money at hand, in the house?
I don't trust any leader who banks outside of their country, or hoards a ton of money in the house. They deny local banks the necessary liquidity to progress. Mogaka Nyachae deserves to lose this money.
