Pressident Museveni survived an epic battle with a snake while giving speech in kirangira, Mukono district.

The President was sharing the tent with Lands minister, Ester Namuganza when the shocking incident happened.

Museveni was forced to pause his speech after seeing his security men throwing chairs and jumping around before he asked what was going on. "Nii, nii, what is it?"- the president asked.

Fortunately, the snake which had sneaked under the carpet where the president was standing was feasted on and removed by his guards.

Shortly, the president continued his speech and  promised he will never abandon his people.

This is not the first the president is battling a snake confrontation, on 13th, September  2016, a python [80kgs and 20 feet long] was shot dead at Museveni's farm in Kisozi as he celebrated his 72nd birthday.
