{UAH} Jeremy Corbyn calls for Saudi arms sales suspension amid journalist’s disappearance
George Okello
Let us put this argument into perspective, when we consider this year 2018 only, 44 journalists have been murdered, 4 of which have been murdered inside United States through targeted killing. I think the number is 17 only in Afghanistan where 2 were murdered only yesterday. What I am driving at here is that killing journalists is not actually news any more as this noise tries to depict it. Why are they killed? For many reasons, including becoming very political. Here is my basic question, why do we pick this single death to stop arms sale to Saudi Arabia? What actions have you so far taken against the countries where 43 journalists have been murdered so far? Just last month October Viktoria Marinova was raped and murdered in Bulgaria at age 30, they found her body dumped in a park, her mobile phone, car keys, glasses and part of her clothes were missing, what steps did you take against Bulgaria, or you are stating that Jamal Khashoggi was a more journalist than Victoria Marinova?
So the argument Jeremy Corbyn is making, is not based on protecting journalists it is using a window of the death of a man to resurrect Iran. Look very closely at the people making the most noise about this death, it is every crap that supported the Iran deal. Jamal Khashoggi is a Saudi from a family that decided to become political from way before he was born, he reached a point and decided to leave Saudi Arabia into United States for he realized that he would not survive in Saudi Arabia. What made him decide to go back? That is a very local issue that we must be very careful and not interfere into, for we were never involved into making the decision for Kashoogi family to interfere into the political fray, or running out of Saudi Arabia let alone going back.
Which brings me back to Saudi Arabia, it is a country that decided to work with the west for a very long time, about 80 years now. The difference here is that in those 80 years Saudis decided to refuse to involve themselves into the wars as The Iranians. What the lefties are doing today, is to fight and defend the Iranians for they fade the war machine in Middle east. I am going back to The Obama administration, when Iranians were making the bombs that were blowing up American soldiers, The Obama Administration paid them by a plane load of money. Iranians have been funding almost all wars in Middle East and not a single Democrat cared. The only way this administration would stop the Iranian carnage was by working with Saudi Arabia to stop Iran. Thus the torching of the Iranian stupid deal.
As the Arab up raising moved across Middle East it affected Saudi Arabia as well, because it was fueled mainly by youths, The king in his wisdom decided to empower Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to lead at age only 33. At that age the prince can easily be in power for the next 50 or so years. Let us be very careful that he came to power to embrace the Saudi youths. He has slowly but steadily opened up Saudi Arabia, has he done it all? No but Saudis are doing much better than they were during his father. It is also important to note that 50% of Saudi Arabia population is youths, of which 75% support the Crown prince. Those numbers are important as we look at the current problem. If the crown prince is 33 years and he has a support of 75% of all youths in Saudi Arabia, who do you have to replace him that will embrace the values that he has started to put in Saudi Arabia? I need a name sir.
Which takes me back to the president of the people, this man has been in power for now two years and many of you are failing to understand his modus operandi. Society has been running on friendship, on organizations, on Canada is a friend and neighbor of United States, on EU is our friend, to him that system has failed. And he argues that his presidency is only built on a simple basis, everything is transactional. It does not matter how bad you are to him it is numbers, it does not matter how friendly you have been to United States, to him it is numbers. Yes G7 has been a great friend of United States he understands that, but he is not here to play nkwekula, he is here to know exactly how much money he is pumping into Germany and how much money he is getting out. It does not matter how close Canada is to United States, it only matters how much diary product Canada takes. Thus it does not matter if a journalist was murdered in Saudi Arabia, it is how many jobs Americans get out of the money Saudis pump into United States. In just a couple of days, the Iranian embargo is going to kick in, it is going to be massive and it is going to choke off Iran due to their bad behavior. Among the Iranian items to be cut off is going to be The Iranian oil. Guess who is going to replace that supply, it is going to be Saudi Arabia through the Crown prince. That is more valuable than a dead journalist.
And I know Jeremy Corbin worries so much about the moral values, but Jeremy sat in London when the British soldiers are blowing up Iraqis for now past 30 years, and he never said a God damn word, when the bombing had no monetary value but to suck money out of the British tax payer to nothingness. By the time this administration came to power, the entire G7 membership was fighting somewhere and killing people in tens of thousands somewhere, yet there was no monetary value out of all those wars. The administration is going to continue working with Saudi Arabia for there is a monetary value. In ending let me say this as well, every decision that has ever been made by a United States administration, heads start by spinning on what is good for United States and the larger community, every president including Barrack Obama has made that calculation. To those administrations it was a value of Western hemisphere. This administration makes the very same calculation before it makes a decision, only that this president makes that calculation publicly. We have several billion dollars of interest with Saudi Arabia let us be very careful with the decision making, and instead of putting a value on a hemisphere he puts a value on American jobs, for he is a president of United States than a president of a hemisphere.
I fully understand how valuable was Jamal Khashoggi to Jeremy Corbyn, let him take a firkin day off in his memory. -> Ge'eZ

Jeremy Corbyn has called for the suspension of arms sales to Saudi Arabia after dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi was allegedly murdered in its Istanbul consulate.
The Washington Post columnist, who was a critic of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has been missing for more than two weeks after he entered the Gulf kingdom's consulate.
Turkish officials said police searching the consulate found evidence the journalist was killed there, while brutal accounts surfaced of his alleged slaying as he tried to pick up paperwork to get married.

The Labour leader on Wednesday called for an international investigation into the "abominable" treatment of Mr Khashoggi.
"The issues that have come to light of the death in Istanbul of a Saudi national who was visiting the embassy call into question the close relationship with Saudi Arabia of so many Western countries," he told US broadcaster CNN.
"Our immediate call is for the suspension of all arms supplies to Saudi Arabia."
Saudi's behaviour in Yemen, where it has been accused of war crimes during the civil war, must also be challenged, Mr Corbyn added.
His comments came after Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and his G7 counterparts said they are "very troubled" by the writer's disappearance and called for those responsible to be held accountable.
On Wednesday, Turkish investigators searched the home of the Saudi consul general in Istanbul, which is a short distance from the consulate where Mr Khashoggi disappeared as his fiancee waited outside on October 2.

An account in Turkey's pro-government Yeni Safak newspaper alleged Saudi officials cut off his fingers and decapitated him.
Riyadh is a key ally for the West and US President Donald Trump has said it is being treated as "guilty until proven innocent".
US secretary of state Mike Pompeo visited Turkey for talks following a meeting with the Saudi king and the crown prince.
Trump has suggested that "rogue killers" could have been involved in the case but such a move without sanction from the Saudi regime is believed by many to be highly unlikely.
