{UAH} Maajid Nawaz brings up debate surrounding M&S selling kids' hijabs
Mayimuna/ Afuwa kasule/ Semuwemba/ Ahmed Katerega/ Edward Mo irundrua,
Mr Maajid Nawaaz is the man leading the battle to ban hijab for ALL school girls in the UK. A radio broadcaster, Mr Nawaaz is himself a muslim and has set up the Quilliam Foundation, a Muslim organisation that preaches moderate islam and is opposed to terrorism. Mr Maajid Nawaz has been very angry today when he found out the British Clothes Store Marks & Spencer has been selling hijabs falsely advertised as "school uniforms". He says M&S has reverted to 'medievalism' by including a child-size hijab in the school-wear category. There is a campaign by parents to boycott M &S. many of its stores have now removed the hijabs for fear of hurting the feelings of the parents even more..
