Margaret Kankwanzi wins Miss Tourism Uganda 2018 crown

After an extremely tiring and demanding 12 months of travelling around Uganda's regions in search of Uganda's next Miss Tourism ambassador, MargaretKankwanzi finally claimed the 2018 crown.

Kankwanzi, who hails from Kigezi region took the night as she beat eleven other contestants from Bunyoro, West Nile, Busoga, Ankole, Buganda, and Northern Uganda in the finale that was held at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Apart from walking away with the crown, Kankwanzi won herself a trip to Dubai and USA where she will represent Uganda, and a scholarship at ISBAT University.

Ayen Emily from Karamoja emerged as the first runner up and Lebu Laura from West Nile was the second runners up at the colorful event.

The night also saw several performances from different artists that kept revelers entertained throughout the night.
