{UAH} N.Y.OKELLO ELEPU. RIP

Death has robbed us of the UPC stalwart and former District Chaiman for Soroti, Mr N.Y. Okello Elepu. Mr Elepu was buried yesterday with full party colours. His funeral was attended by UPC delegations from allover the country. In his eulogy, Retired Soroti Bishop Rev Bernard Ebitu  praised Mrr Elepu for being a strong, far sighted and committed leader of the UPC who was ready to help members during the darkest hours when the NRA under the command of Yoweri Museveni embarked on a war of genocide against party members. Mr Elepu will be remembered for the energy and zest he injected into the party. He will be sadly missed by the party and by all those who knew him and worked wit him
