I think Onyango-Obbo nails down the pertinent weaknesses of the premature excitement about Bobi Wine's potentials.

I, too, raised these shortcomings here shortly after Bobi Wine was brutalized and briefly detained by security forces. 

Yes, Bobi Wine has won over the minds and hearts of a few millions, but he still needs to cultivate wider support around the country, to present any meaningful challenge to President Museveni.
