51 YEARS AGO - 08/10/1967 South American Revolutionary Guerilla war hero CHE ENERSTO GUEVARA aged 39, was captured by the Bolivian army. The U.S.-military-backed Bolivian forces captured Guevara on October 8 1967 while battling his band of guerillas in Bolivia and assassinated him the following day 09/10/1967. His hands were cut off as proof of death and his body was buried in an unmarked grave.
