{UAH} THE SENATE LEADER HAS FILED A CLOTURE ON A ONE BRETT KAVANAUGH

The Senate majority leader has this evening, filed a cloture on a one Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination. And I will explain, that is the official way a Senate leader shows that the debate on a candidate has ended today Wednesday. If he has closed it today, it means that under the rules of the chamber, the senate majority leader is going to allow the chamber to vote on ending the debate on Brett Kavanaugh on Friday. If Kavanaugh overcomes the procedural hurdles, the Senate could then take a final vote on his nomination as early as Saturday. The reason he has filed a cloture today is to allow all members of the senate to review and be briefed on all the supplemental materials before a Friday cloture vote. So between this evening and Friday, every senator that has any supplement that he/she needs to read about a one Brett Kavanaugh, this is the time to do it, for after Friday, a vote on a one Brett Kavanaugh is going to be called on the floor.
