{UAH} Tube pusher guilty: CCTV shows moment 91-year-old man sent 'flying' onto train tracks
Edward P'Ojim,
-- Does the New York subway have barriers to stop nutters from pushing unsuspecting passengers onto the path of fast travelling trains? Unfortunately, most of the UK rails dont have barriers- it is only the ones built in the last 15 years that have floor to roof barriers that open only when a train has stopped. Incidents of nutters pushing passengers on the the path of oncoming trains are becoming common- previously, rail tracks were mainly used to commit suicide- so this unfortunate development is very worrying. With the number of muslim nutters in the USA, I am surprised they have not yet realised the train track is another low-tech weapon of terrorism. You can easily take out 10 or more people with you during crowded rush hours.
