Uganda's Museveni blames Bobi Wine for causing economic instability

Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni has blamed opposition leader Bobi Wine as major problem that the country is facing in terms of economic growth.

In reference to Kyadondo East member of parliament Bobi Wine, Museveni said that the groups trying to destabilize Uganda are being funded by foreign agencies who do not want to see Uganda develop.

He also revealed that Uganda has been exporting more goods to neighboring Kenya than what Kenya export to Uganda.

While talking about the Security forces and the Bobi Wine group, Museveni made reference to financiers of rioters who hope to damage the economy of Uganda which is, finally, taking off by developing fast.

He went a head to list three issues that needs to be solved. He cited high rate of crimes which has resulted into death of a number of high profile individuals in the country, political indiscipline by opposition political actors and corruption by government officials as the major problems affecting Uganda.

"We have just three issues to solve; Crime in the towns which we are addressing by installing cameras in Kampala; political indiscipline like we saw in Jinja East, Bugiri and Arua and finally corruption." He asserted.

He further added that the peace brought by his government has started yielding results especially after hosting delegation from Kenya led by deputy president William Somei Ruto.
