{UAH} Friends in Upstate New York:- PEACE TALK: US IMPERIALISM AND UGANDA
Friends in Upstate New York:
Come out and support my friend Bwesigye Mwesigire. He will hold a discussion on U.S. Imperialism and Uganda hosted by PSL Geneva. Some key questions and points of discussion about Ugandan struggles for liberation are:
• How are Ugandan people fighting contemporary imperialism?
• In what ways does imperialism use the war on terror to
continue exploiting Uganda?
• What can U.S. resident opponents of imperialism do to support the Ugandan Left?
• What does internationalism look like when fighting imperialism in its neoliberal phase?
Bwesigye Bwa Mwesigire is an activist and writing from Uganda, PhD student in English at Cornell, and founder of Center for African Cultural Excellence (CACE).
• Date & Time: Friday, November 30 at 7 PM – 8:30 PM
• Location: 284 Exchange St, Geneva, New York 14456
