Debunking Albinism Superstitions and Myths

It was all fun and glamour at the first ever Miss and Miss Albinism beauty contest held yesterday at Bax Conference Centre in Jinja.

It was a show of beauty, intelligence, purpose and need to break myth associated with albinism. Following suite from Albinism Society of Kenya (ASK) that sponsored the event in partnership with Source of the Nile Union of Persons with Albinism (SNUPA) in Uganda.

The event witnessed 22 enthusiastic Ugandans with albinism walk on the run way as gestures of improved courage and determination to break myth associate with albinism.

After a long day the judges finally came out with the list of top ten contestants scheduled to represent Uganda in the regional Mr and Miss Albinism East Africa on 30.11.2018 at KICC Nairobi.
