General Motors is facing the reality of today's production technology and consumer expectations. 

Someone had posted here yesterday that GM would close a plant in Canada and bring the jobs to US. That's not the case, as the closure of the Canadian plant will cost about 2,500 jobs that won't be replaced anywhere.
