This is the most powerful reason for disaffection and lack of achievement among black boys in the UK. Nearly 50% of them dont have any male influence at all until they get to university- ie if they dont drop off early from school. There are now 16 to 19 year old boys who have never had any male influence, whether at home or at school. The only men they see are the mother's boyfriends whom they dont generally like and try to avoid or are very hiostile towards,.
To stop the knife crime on the streets of London- this is the first problem that must be fixed. How can we reapir the black family- and make sure balck boys live with a father?
