{UAH} RWANDAN REFUGEES IN UGANDA UNDER THREAT FROM KAYIBANDA

The ferocity relationship between Rwanda and Uganda may soon escalate should the country's refugees be coerced to return home against their will.

Media reports have for long been indicating that there is simmering tension brewing between Rwanda and Uganda that might degenerate into war.

However the statement from Uganda's cabinet minister for disaster preparedness and refugees engineer Hilary Obaloker Onek that Rwandan refugees might be forced back home raises even more tension.

It's not yet clear why Rwandan refugees in particular are the ones to be taken back to their country however we hope to get details from minister Onek.

Senior police officers are currently behind bars following forced repatriation of some Rwandan dissidents.
